2020 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic

Harley-Davidson updated its popular Heritage Classic cruiser in 2018 as part of a major overhaul to all its Softail machines. It retains its Softail heritage but also appeals as a touring machine, particularly for riders who don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. The Heritage Classic is rooted in classic Harley design but offers a modern ride and the chops to tackle just about any long haul.

2020 Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic Reviews, Comparison, And Competition

Although the Heritage Classic remains unchanged for 2020, the platform is a remarkably capable touring cruiser. We took the revised version on a nine-state ride just after it came to market in 2018 and everything from the Milwaukee-Eight 107 to the cockpit to the cornering capability proved smooth and comfortable. It’s a bike that our testers thought well worth the starting $18,999 MSRP. It’s got stiff competition in the nostalgic V-twin touring cruiser market (niche, right?) from the Indian Chief Vintage, but continues to hold its own as a stripped-down, capable, and classic-looking machine that reliably provides comfortable long and short range rides.
